Butterfly Afternoon

Millions of tiny dots make up the foreground foliage with flower petals coming out of the grass. I grew up just behind my elementary school and used to chase butterflies in the big field on the walk to school, a lovely memory.

Soybean Creek

I love this little creek that forms in a local soybean field. Millions of tiny leaves forming a green sea with mist in the background.

Evening Lily Pond

Lower contrast and more muted colors give a sense of the romanticism of a quiet lily pond just before the color of the sky loses its warmth. One of my favorites to paint in variation.

Hummingbird Heaven in Wisteria

A variation of Hummingbird Heaven series but with wisteria background. Coated in my flaked glass technique to enhance the dreamy effect of the piece.

Willows on the River

Hanging willow branches are some of my favorite subjects. This tree was actually in a backyard I believe overlooking a creek that turned into a pond before turning back into a creek. I've painted many willow themes they all turn into a combination of what you think looks best in the end. If you look on a bright moonlit night, you'll notice the sky is not that dark and many things can be seen in bluish muted tones. Silent and beautiful.

Willows on the River II

A variation of my willows on the river series. Something about the light when nothing but the moon is shining on the water is so beautiful, especially on a warm summer night. Willow branches moving against each other in gentle wind is also really pleasant somehow. Thats the kind of thing that sticks around in the mind of a painter.

Cranes in Morning Light

I love the light just after the dark has broken, and the sky shows its colors for about 20 minutes before the complexity of the clouds really take over. These type of cranes have many legends behind them but the idea is about living for a thousand years with the one you love going though time together.

Stolen Moments in the City

One of my many cityscapes where something in a downtown area was kind of randomly beautiful. In this case a light rainstorm had just passed and a couple reached out to hold hands and laughed for some reason in a cute way. Think it also made a few others on the sidewalk smile as I recall.

Dogwood and Berries

An example of my 36 x 48 works, which range in price from around 1500$ to 3000$. Berry trees blurred in background, with detailed flowers and berries to show planes of depth.

Lemonade

An example of my 24 x 36 works, which range in price from around 500$ to 800$. Ingredients to make lemonade, a lovely tradition in our culture we share with our youngest members.

Crane in the Mist

An example of my 36 x 48 works, which range in price from around 1500$ to 3000$. You would never know this painting is covered in layers of different ceramic materials that have same effect on the eye as micro-diamonds. In real life it has soft sparkly sides and smooth area where the crane is painted. Something entirely different I invented the process for. Always catches the eye if there's any light in the room.

Organic in the Inorganic

Series No.2

An example of my 36 x 48 works, which range in price from around 1500$ to 3000$. Series No. 2 is done in warm inviting tones. Elegant and fits in many types of decor.

Work Days Evening

An example of my 24 x 48 works, which range in price from around 1500$ to 2000$. The birds are out and the people are gone, just another day out on the sea.

Rainstorm and the Mist

An example of my 30 x 48 works, which range in price from around 1500$ to 2500$. Really captures the light when your standing on the bank after a rainstorm and the fog rolls in over the water.

Organic in the Inorganic

Series No. 3

An example of my 36 x 48 works, which range in price from around 1500$ to 3000$. Series No. 3 uses sharp metallic lines against the cala lilies to show modern elegance. Great with modern decor or to add a modern touch to any home.

Organic in the Inorganic

Series No. 2

An example of my 48 x 60 works, which range in price from around 2000$ to 14,000$. Series No.2 uses warm tones as the center of focus. The size of the piece is hard to tell by the picture, but the flowers and pots are done in detail. This against the geometric shapes create contrast. Goes well with colored furniture, or anywhere you want to splash some brighter colors.

Avian Dreamscape

An example of my 36 x 48 works, which range in price from around 1500$ to 3000$. Textured understructure river scene, abstracted foliage, and a mating pair of Longbeaks.

Abstracted Wisteria

An example of my 48 x 60 works which range in price from 2000$ to 14,000$. A wonderful example of micro texture in downward lighting.

Birth of the Universe

A very dynamic composition of mark making and acrylic glazing. Looks like explosion of colors in real life. An example of a 36 x 48, prices range from 1500$ to 3000$.

Floral Abstract in Ultramarine and Alizarin

Gesso and acrylic layering in up and down strokes. A group of nuns once told me in person it reminded them of heaven, lovely ladies. Leaves and flowers rendered into abstract composition. Both modern and inviting in the home setting. An example of 36 x 48, prices range from 1500$ to 3000$.

Floral River in B&W

Strong value contrasts, and a misty background make the more accurately rendered leaves and flowers stand out. An example of my 24 x 24 works which range from 200$ to 500$.

A Word on Inventory

So following the corona virus and the market impact on mouldings sold in length, I was encouraged to greatly develop my canvas pieces. I carry framed cityscapes, but all the larger pieces are done on canvas with wrapped edges intended to be hung without frames. Alot of my customers do buy frames afterward and add them to my work however. Almost anything in silver metallic looks great. Also this way you are paying me to paint for you and not put together frames which most artists charge twice the price of entire piece to do. The previous examples of my work may be available when you visit or I may have entirely new pieces by then. Anything you see here can be made again, but will be the next piece in that series because I don't do identical copies. Alot of my work is made once, when an idea hits me, and customers generally like their piece to be one of a kind. Even the Organic in the Inorganic No.1 which is one of my most popular series has a different pattern of shapes and lilies in every single one I have made. I used to take a large number of personalized custom orders, but have moved into doing more of my own projects. If you wanted something specific I can usually copy almost any painting style and subject, if given enough time. Those projects start around 1200$ depending on size and complexity. If it's something I already created the template for like Organic in the Inorganic of a different size that should be no issue. You will just get the next one of the series, same idea, in a unique design. I respond to every e-mail, under contact you will find the latest address.

Thanks for checking out my work, I look forward to talking with you.
